By the looks of it, Sail By The Stars is trying to capture the “little girl” emo fanbase that so many have capitalized on before him. He seems to be perfect for fans of Owl City, nevershoutnever, and The Spill Canvas. He has the same look and sound. How far will he get? Who knows? In my opinion, his music still has a little ways to go.

Oh wait, no it’s not. It’s another young spiky-haired blonde musician trying to make it in the pop world. However, Zach Lockwood has a country twang that separates him from his predecessors. As someone that absolutely hates country music, I must say that Zach is actually pretty good. He has quite a future ahead of him – especially with that hair.

Some of the guitar riffs found in “Fire in the Hole” on their Soundcloud profile remind me of cKY. I think that’s a good thing, but I’m not sure yet.
