Go Radio has released the first single from their upcoming debut full-length album. The song is called “Any Other Heart.”
It’s attacking. It’s catchy. It’s enjoyable.
What do you think of it?
Here is a neat little video from the collaboration of UNKLE and Nick Cave. The song is called “Money and Run.”
It’s not too often that an artist gets a chance to reinvent themselves. If you were around in the 90′s, you might remember that Robyn became a one-hit wonder in the pop universe. It was so poppy that everyone figured that she wouldn’t be back.
Oddly enough, a decade later, Robyn proved everyone wrong by recreating herself. With an all-new electronic feel, Robyn resurfaced and has been winning over the hearts of indie music fans everywhere.
Her latest album “Body Talk” has done very well Internationally and she has been touring successfully around the world to support it.
Her latest single, “Call Your Girlfriend” is an infectious electronic track that you’ll find yourself nodding your head to.
As an early Nirvana fan, I have been a Foo Fighters fan since their conception. Moreover, as a drummer, I have followed Dave Grohl’s every move as a musician. The guy is undoubtedly incredible and he has never failed me.
What I love most above Mr. Grohl is his amazing sense of humor. Ever since the early days and the “Big Me” Mentos video, it was evident that he didn’t take himself too seriously. While he enjoys having fun with his celebrity status, he somehow remains serious within his songwriting. That alone is a fascinating and admirable juxtaposition.
In their latest offering, “Walk” is more of the same. It’s a great radio rock song and a humorous, yet meaningful video that highlights Mr. Grohl’s multi-dimensional talents.
Coldplay is back with their highly-anticipated new single off of their highly-anticipated new album.
The song titled “Every Teardrop is a Waterfall” has received mixed reviews thus far.
In my opinion, it sounds like classic Coldplay – only evolved to today. I truly believe it will grow on people the more they listen to it. It’s pretty melodic.
I’m sure if you’re a Coldplay fan, you’ll like it eventually.
Here is a dose of innovation within the music industry at its finest.
BlueBrain, a relatively unknown instrumental duo has decided to do away with the typical (now failed) model of releasing an album, selling it, and touring to support it. Instead, they are promoting their new music through a location-based mobile application that plays their music relative to your location.
Watch the video below to see just how incredible this idea is.
The ball is in your court again now, Radiohead.
The iPad is an amazing device. I knew it wouldn’t be long before some musical genius was able to create their own incredible music using all of the free noisemaking applications and the advanced GarageBand app that came out last year.
This guy seems to have beaten most rockers to the punch. In the below video, he is rocking out to an original piece of music that was both composed and recorded with a single iPad.
Not too bad, huh?
Here is Aranda covering Led Zeppelin’s “Dazed And Confused.”
