Starkey – Lost In Space (Video)

logo

Do you like trippy music? Starkey might just be for you.

“Lost in Space” is a heavily effected tune that I could see myself floating in mid-air to. It’s an interesting scenario to write a soundtrack for, but I’m sure there is a dream-oriented movie out there that would love to feature a song like this.

There is a place for all types of talents. This is good stuff. It’s just not the type of music I rock out to in my car.

Lazy Habits – Even Out (Video)

logo

Lazy Habits is a type of artist you don’t see too often anymore. They are an example of a perfect blend of a myriad of music genres in one tight British package.

Think about what would come out if Brian Setzer made love to Calvin Harris and The Streets. That’s kinda what you get with Lazy Habits. You get a great horn section, smooth drum-and-bass, and charming hip-hop vocals.

I have embedded the video below for your pleasure.

Lady Gaga – You and I (Video)

logo

Lady Gaga is back with another shocking music video. This one features her playing a cast of characters, and even includes the bonus of mermaid sex!

The song “You and I” just might be the best written song she’s ever released – at least from my perspective. It’s catchy and unlike many of her other songs, doesn’t possess a section that I can’t stand.

I have embedded the official six-minute music video below. I hope you can look past the oddness and appreciate the song for what it is.

Straight Talkin’

logo

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Straight Talk for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

The biggest secret to wealth building is spending a lot less than you make each and every month. By doing this, you will notice that your savings account will compile over a short period of a few months. With mortgages and/or rent payments, insurance, car payments, taxes, and all of the other financial responsibilities we are plagued with, cutting corners anywhere you can is the key to long-term financial success.

For a lot of families, cell phone bills play a large part of the monthly burden. Most cell phone bills add up to an arm and a leg when you take into account all of the minutes, texts, and data that these companies charge users to consume. Before you know it, you’re paying over $100 a month per line with these large companies.

With a new mobile solution called Straight Talk, you get everything you need without the lengthy contracts and large monthly bills. For only $45 a month, you can get unlimited everything on your plan. Compare that to your current $130 plan and you have yourself the first step to your new wealth building formula. Check out a real testimonial from a real Straight Talk customer.

The best part of all of this is that Straight Talk offers refurbished phones for as low as $10 when you start service with them. They are all of the smart phones and PDAs you would want with any other mobile service – Hook, line and sinker.

Straight Talk is available at all Wal-Mart locations. You should call a friend and tell them to sign up with you. Or, call your mom and ask her to join. I’m sure she’ll love saving money. And as always, you’ll have to do what she says.

Remember, mom knows best. To close, I’ll leave you with a customer views compilation video.

Top Shelf Jazz – Gentlemen in Squalor (Video)

logo

I don’t cover a lot of jazz on this blog for whatever reason. It’s not that I don’t enjoy jazz, I think it’s because it’s not as readily available as a lot of the other genres on the web.

So, I wanted to contradict history and feature a cool jazz/swing group called Top Shelf Jazz. The song is called “Gentlemen in Squalor.”

Enjoy!

Ben Butler has come together with Mousepad to make an interesting blend of several genres of music. The result is the embedded video for “Design” below.

While I still don’t know if this collaboration completely works for me, I’ll let you guys be the judge of it.

Duran Duran – The Man Who Stole a Leopard (Video)

logo

Duran Duran is back with a crowd-sourced video for their latest single called “The Man Who Stole a Leopard.” Before you ask yourself about the odd title for the song, wait until you watch the entire 6 minute video embedded below. It’s strange to say the least.

The rumor is that Duran Duran will be playing this video for their fans on their upcoming world tour. Boy, everyone should be so excited for that!

Starlings – Sirens (Video)

This is the latest offering from Starlings. The song is called “Sirens.”

Lost In The Trees – Walk Around The Lake (Video)

logo

I’m personally in love with this song from Lost in the Trees. The sweeping orchestra mixed with the mellow British sound reminiscent of Travis, is a very compelling combination.

Please enjoy “Walk Around the Lake” and spread the word about this artist. They deserve massive success with a unique sound like this.

Vadoinmessico – Pond (Music Video)

This brilliantly edited music video is from “Vadoinmessico,” an act you most likely have never heard of until now.

The song is called “Pond.” It’s short and sweet.
