Luke Toms – Another Day (Video)

logo

I have to admit that I had never heard of Luke Toms before seeing this video. I am thoroughly impressed and surprised I didn’t know about him earlier. I like him a lot.

This video is for his song called “Another Day.”

I’m going to go check out some of his albums.

Dan Deacon – My Name is Robert (Video)

Dan Deacon always tends to bring the “WTF” out of everybody, and this song/video is no exception.

Here is the video for “My Name is Robert.”

Paper Crows – Fingertips (Video)

I couldn’t find the official music video on YouTube and I didn’t want to pull in the embed code from Vimeo. Whatever. It’s the song that matters most anyway, right?

Here is the song (fake video) for Paper Crows’ haunting song “Fingertips.”

Gameshow Outpatient – DNAUXB (Video)

logo

Do you LOVE Nintendo music like me? OMG! Then, you’re going to love the music of Gameshow Outpatient. It’s awesome and completely reminiscent of what can be heard inside your favorite old-school Nintendo games.

With the release of their new EP, Gameshow Outpatient is starting to receive mild popularity, but I expect their fanbase to grow slowly, but steadily.

The video for “DNAUXB” is embedded below. Get ready to be taken back to the late ’80′s. Get your controllers ready!

The Kooks – The Sofa Song (Video)

logo

I can understand how the Kooks might not be for everybody. The lead singer sounds kind of like a crazy Muppet and the music is relatively simple. However, they do offer a lot of charm – a la the Strokes.

Watch the video for “The Sofa Song,” which I have embedded below. You be the judge. Is the music listenable?

Zornik – The Enemy (Video)

logo

Zornik is a German rock band that took to a translator in order to make the move to market to us here in the United States. I’m not quite sure if the translation works for me since the vocals do sound bizarre at times. However, I appreciate that decent radio rock is coming out of a country like Germany.

It’s not quite Rammstein, but at least Zornik is listenable. Check out “The Enemy” embedded below.
