Bison is one of those rising bands that have major label offers on the table but are still 100% unsigned/unpublished as of right now. A deal will inevitably close soon for them though.
I hate to use it as an adjective, but I love when a band can get away with an elegant “folky” sound. Why do I love pop/folk music so much?

Check out Bison’s “Switzerland” performed live below.
Prior to Interscope picking them up last year, I had only heard the name Imagine Dragons. It wasn’t until recently that I really got into their music.
Take a listen to the single “It’s Time,” which just cracked the Top 20 on the Alternative Radio charts.

His hilarious song “Bromance” is currently blowing up online. You can watch it below.
Also make sure you watch the video for the more serious song of his – “God Damn You’re Beautiful.” It’s a huge ballad with no co-writers.

Check out the video for the single “Vans On” below, which has already garnered over 1 million views and is starting to get adds at Rhythmic Radio.
Kudos to Mills’ manager John Zagata, who is also responsible for developing and serving as the early manager of Foster The People’s frontman Mark Foster. It seems like he has a knack for finding talent early.
Blackbear released his first EP, titled Foreplay, on Friday (4/20).
